First Quarter 
Swedish Massage                                                                            

Quarterly description:                                                  
Massage and bodywork assessment, theory and application  
Within the scope of Swedish massage - techniques and strokes - compression, palming, cupping, flicking, friction, gliding, hair pulling, jostling, kneading, percussion, pinching, rocking, shaking, traction and vibration. Stretching and lengthening of the muscles and their groups involving joint movement for full range of motion. Assisted and unassisted static stretching, passive stretching for the purpose of reducing muscle cramping. Benefiting both client and therapist.
Thai chi is included            

Second Quarter
Therapeutic modalites 
The body stores the trauma of our lives in muscular rigidity thereby keeping us stuck in the past. When we release the tension in the body and align ourselves with gravity, we take a new stand in life. This allows us to be at ease with ourselves and in harmony in our relationship to others and to the planet. Assessment and repetitive injury's of the extremities will be defined.

Massage and bodywork assessment, theory and application
How to maintain professional boundaries while responding to a client's emotional needs, client interviewing techniques, communication with other health professionals,  when to refer a client out. Exploring verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills.  Deep tissue , Trigger point and  Myofascial release techniques for the extremities are explored.




Third Quarter
Energetic modalities
                                                                                      
Massage and bodywork assessment, theory and application
Quarterly description:

Cranialsacral and Acupressuretechniques are utilized. Trigger points of the head and neck will also be explored. Creating a safe space and healing environment with intention is emphasized. Prayer techniqus are explored. 

 

 

Externship                 
Each student is required to keep track of his or her at-home completed work, 1500hrs in the above subjects will be accepted.  Approximately 25 hours per week per quarter half bookwork outlined above and half bodywork practice completed on your friends and family. School supplies the proper forms which will need to be turned in before taking your final exam.

The on-line course gives you the option to decide for yourself as to how
your progressing, and when to move on to the next segment.

  After the successful completion of the Trinity accelerated Program the Graduate will receive a 1500  non-supervised hours
Certificate of Completion from Trinity School of Therapeutic Massage, Licensed by the State of Michigan.
