Therapeutic Thai Yoga Massage Program
Thai Massage
The origins of Thai massage date back about 2,500 years. Classical Thai Massage is focused on maintaining health and vitality while relieving tension and encouraging energy flow in the body through the use of massage, pressure points, and assisted stretching.
The Program's focus is on a massage also know as "Jap Sen" ( Thai Medical Massage). In one way, it is understood as an equivalent to physical therapy, used to promote healing and recovery from various types of injuries, including repetitive injuries, when the body comes into balance, it naturally begins to heal. It is based on the ancient medical techniques and wisdom written on the stone walls at Wat Po and on ancient palm-leaf manuscripts written in Pali and Sanskrit in Thailand. Through study of these ancient texts and extensive practical experience, this program brings Thailand to America using natural ways to strengthen the body, mind, and spirit allowing you to experience your inner wisdom and power.
The study and application of the Thai healing arts. Ancient philosophy for healing which explores the body, mind and soul integrating tradition and wisdom.
