Professional Program



Before moving onto the Professional level , the student is required to have successfully completed the Foundation and Therapeutic Programs. If the applicant did not attend these programs at Trinity School of Therapeutic Massage or a semester lapse has occurred the student is required to then pass an entrance exam as well as complete a full body, therapeutic Swedish massage.

Course Descriptions:
Health and hygiene
Stress management, emphasizing on techniques which strengthen the intuition and faith. Thai chi, meditation and prayer, lessons in grace, hygiene, and personal attributes will be practices weekly

Body Systems - Anatomy, physiology and kinesiology
Anatomy of the cardiovascular (circulatory) and visceral systems will be explored and practiced.

Massage and bodywork assessment, theory and application
Holding patterns (muscle/fascia memory), posture analysis, structural and functional integration, postural balancing, use of massage tools, enhancing client's kinesthertic awareness, static touch/holding and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF). A review for the therapeutic massage and bodywork certification.

Clinical internship
Students practice their newly acquired myofascial release and energy techniques in a supervised, professional atmosphere. Emphasis on giving and receiving.

Pathology
Basic pharmacology. It is important to understand and be fluent with the language of medicine in order to communicate effectively and to better understand the structural and functional changes caused by disease

Hydrotherapy and Spa solutions
Body wraps, relaxation facials using ingredients from nature. Choosing all organic food which most appeals to our senses. The skin will absorb the nutrients from these foods towards a cleansing relaxing healing experience. Hydrotherapy, History and terms of hydrotherapy, practical understanding in applications of hydrotherapy, mechanisms of hydrotherapy, indications and contraindications, temperatures, comparison of major responses to heat and cold, incomplete and unfavorable reactions to hydrotherapy, physical modalities of hydrotherapy and the equipment used in the application of hydrotherapy

Cranial sacral therapy
Discover how cranial work can enhance your practice. Including the individual motion of each bone, and specific technique to evaluate and free each bone. Every technique is clearly shown and easy to apply. Advanced topics in cranial therapy. Along with the two Eastern systems or traditions via the meridians, chakras and ayurveda

Total in-class supervised instruction (150 hours) - three and half months

Upon successful completion of the Foundation, Therapeutic and Professional Programs the graduate receives a Certificate of Completion from Trinity School of Therapeutic Massage, state-licensed school for five hundred supervised hours / six hundred distance training hours.

Tuition
The tuition and fees paid by the applicant shall be refunded if the applicant is rejected by the school before enrollment. An application fee of not more than $25.00 may be retained by the school if the application is denied. All tuition and fees paid by the applicant shall be refunded if requested within three (3) business days after signing a contract with the school. All refunds shall be returned within 30 days.

Tuition: $2,700.00 - Three ½ months
$150.00 deposit plus a weekly payment of $159.40
$150.00 deposit plus a bi-weekly payment of $318.75
$150.00 deposit plus a monthly payment of $675.50

One hundred and fifty supervised hours
Plus level's one and two's 350 hours gives you a total of 500 supervised hours and a total of nine hundred distance training hours.

Eligible but not required to sit for the National exam
